The purpose of the KTR air conditioning system (vehicle-mounted, split-type
system) is to create comfortable conditions for the crew of a vehicle
providing cooling, heating and ventilation of air in the crew compartment
when vehicle is either on the halt or on the move.
Functions of the air conditioning system are as follows:
- cooling at ambient air temperatures from +15 to +55°C
- heating at ambient air temperatures from -50 to +20°C
- ventilation without cooling or heating within ambient air temperatures
from -50°C to +55°C
The air conditioning system is installed as follows:
- Compressor-condensor unit is installed on fender
- Air processing units are installed in the crew compartment
- Power unit is installed in the crew compartment
- System control panel is installed beside the driver’s panel
