125 mm KBA3K tank gun is intended for installation in modernized tanks T-55,
T-59, as well as in their modifications and serves to:
- defeat tanks and other armoured vehicles of the enemy;
- suppress and destroy fire support means and personnel of the enemy.
KBA3K gun can fire separate-loading ammunition, including:
- guided missles (GM)
- armour-piercing discarding sabot fin-stubilized projectile (APDSFS)
- high-explosive antitank projectile (HEAT)
- high explosive-fragmentation projectile (HE-FRAG)
- air-bust fragmentation-shrapnel projectile (ABFS)
