125 mm KBM1M tank gun is intended for installation in main battle tanks T-72, T-72AG,
T-72MP, as well as in their modifications, and serves to:
- defeat tanks and other armoured vehicles of the enemy;
- suppress and destroy fire support means and personnel of the enemy.
KBM1M gun can fire separate-loading ammunition, including:
- guided missles (GM)
- armour-piercing fin-stabilized discarding sabot projectile (APFSDS)
- high-explosive antitank projectile (HEAT)
- high explosive-fragmentation projectile (APFsDS)
- air-bust fragmentatio-shrapnel projectile (ABFS)(A
